Papermaking is a great way to get connected to nature. Papermaking with local materials is a wonderful way of creating souvenirs of your travels. The workshops normally have the paper pulp ready for the class but if you would like to take part in harvesting plants just contact Deborah and she will build that into the class.

Class Overview
Instructor Deborah Landry will show you how to recycle and reuse paper in a creative and joyful way. Come make Art paper from scraps and nature. include small decorative or meaningful items to your paper — petals from your favorite flower, seeds, leaves, yarns, fibers, or words that hold significance to you.
No Skill Level Required
Papermaking can be for all ages. The class can be about how to recycle your trash or how to elevate paper to an art form all its own.
Materials & Tools Provided
All the materials are included in the class. You are welcome to bring small tid-bits to be included into your sheets.
The materials for papermaking are harvested from the studio gardens. They are harvested and dried and cooked down to just fibers. Then they are processed in a blender. The workshops normally have the paper pulp ready for the class but if you would like to take part in harvesting plants just contact Deborah and she will build that into the class.
Best in the Spring & Summer
The workshops are perfect for summer fun and group get togethers. It is best scheduled in the warm months of the year because you are using lots of water.
The workshop can be simple to just make a few sheets of paper, to learning how to make paper from your plants in your yard.

Paper making classes are available by demand. You can request it get put on the calendar and it will be offered in the next schedule.

Be a studio helper for the day
Deborah makes paper for her studio once a year at least. She will put the dates on the “Hand On Calendar” You can request to be a helper for a small shop fee.
